, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of our commitment to sustainable development and inclusive growth. We believe in giving back to society by contributing to initiatives that uplift communities, protect the environment, and promote education, healthcare, and livelihood.
Our CSR efforts are aligned with the provisions of Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, and are focused on creating long-term impact for society, especially in rural and underprivileged areas.

KFL gives special preference to CSR initiatives in areas surrounding its Shahjahanpur (UP) plant but also undertakes projects across India as per need.

We actively contribute to social, environmental, and economic upliftment through meaningful, long-term initiatives.
Our CSR activities are aligned with Section 135 of the Companies Act, 2013, and are guided by the principles outlined in Schedule VII, focusing on creating measurable, positive impact in the communities we serve.

CSR Budget for FY 2025-26
The Board of Directors in their meeting held on 28.07.2025 on the recommendation of Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the Board had allocated a sum of Rs. 294.23 Lakh towards the already approved CSR Project for constructing the Community Centre and Rs. 20 Lakh towards other CSR activities in FY 2025-26 in alignment with the Company’s CSR Policy.
Our CSR Implementation Approach
- CSR projects are undertaken as per the Annual Action Plan approved by the Board on the recommendation of the CSR Committee.
- Initiatives may be implemented directly or through qualified Section 8 companies, trusts, or registered societies.
- Monitoring mechanisms are in place to ensure transparency and impact.
- Any surplus from CSR activities is reinvested into CSR and is not treated as business profit.
Compliance & Reporting
- KFL allocates at least 2% of the average net profit (last 3 financial years) toward CSR initiatives annually.
- All statutory CSR disclosures, expenditure reports, and impact assessments (where applicable) are published for public reference.
- CSR fund utilization is monitored and certified by the Board and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as per legal requirements.
